The Alex Foster Foundation (AFF) is a 501c3 charity formed in 2014 by the Foster Family, in memory of Alex Foster. AFFs' mission is to support those with addiction and their loved ones, work to better educate about addiction, and advocate for better treatment and legislation.
Support of addicts and their loved ones.
Educating to increase prevention.
Advocating for better treatment and legislation.
After years of parenting a child battling addiction, Maureen has a pseudo education in the subject. As Vice President, Maureen primarily focuses on fundraising efforts and raising awareness. She hopes that this foundation will serve well in honoring her late son’s memory, as well as creating change.
Mike is a salesman by day and advocate by night. As AFF’s President, he leads the foundation in overarching planning and strategy. Mike hopes that his family will be able to save at least one life (if not many) in the support they provide to those who are struggling with addiction, and their loved ones.
